Pearson Airport 5 Hour Layover

Hey everyone,

So I have a 5 hour layover in Toronto, and was trying to figure out ways to pass the time. I saw in another thread that the airport Sheraton has a fitness center and sauna/steam room that can be used for $25 for non-guests. Is this true? It seems cheap to me. It sounds great to get a workout and steam in before a ten hour flight, though.

One thing to consider though is you will need to check out and re-check in your bags at Pearson, you may want to view this link and put in your information for your requirements depending on what city you are coming from and where you are going:

You may have less time than expected due to how Pearson handles connections.

You _may_ need to claim and recheck your bags at Pearson, or you may not. You'd need to provide more specifics (at the link above, or to us) to get the correct answerr.

For example, if you're arriving from the US and flying on overseas on an Air Canada flight, you won't see your bags at all. On the other hand, if you're arriving from overseas and heading on to the US, then you need to clear US customs and immigration in Toronto (which may not involve actually picking up your bags, but still takes time).
