All things (e.g. room vs. suite) being equal, summer - Radisson, winter - Residence Inn.

See my answer to your question about the Sheraton for more details.

The Radisson Admiral is right on the lake, next door to Harbourfront, the waterfront cultural centre. In the summer, I think that's a better location than the Residence Inn. The only downside is that, like in many North American cities, the waterfront is cut off from downtown by an elevated expressway (the urban planners of the 50s and 60s have a lot to answer for), so it's a 15-minute walk or a quick streetcar ride to get to downtown shopping, the entertainment district, etc.

Stay at the Residence Inn, its rated # 1 on on trip advisor! Lots of restaurants, theaters, shops, and attractions around the hotel. Also the hotel rooms are all suites and come with full sized kitchens, the hotel also offers free breakfast as well. Radisson is a little to far from the action.
