Fishing Tours

We are parents with a 5 year old kid, and we have barely any experience of fishing. Currently I am looking for a short/half day fishing trip from Whistler or Fraser Valley. After hours of internet search, the three choices come out because these guides offer short tours in an affordable price.

1.Back Roads Whistle

2.Trout Country Fishing Guides

3. Whistler Eco Tours

They also offer a mini-trip for a even lower cost.

Have anyone gone fishing with them before? Please give my some suggestions. Thank you guys!

If you really want him to catch a fish then use one of the Fraser Valley guides preferably one with a jet boat-he'll love the boat ride and if he gets a few tiddlers he'll be Happy.

Someone who is a Father (like the Guide as linked) has a better idea of a small child's need and can tailor a trip for the family.

Nothing against any of the Whistler operations but they focus on a specialised market and have fewer options to choose from-fishing around Whistler isn't anything special unless lakes have just been stocked-gorgeous scenery though.

In all my years in Whistler, I've never gone fishing. But I've had friends go out fly fishing with the following company. http://www.whistlerflyfishing.com/

Some companies in Whistler are catch and release, so check with each company.
