Is there a Taxi stand at the Horseshoe Bay terminal?

I’m just wondering if there is a taxi stand at the horseshoe bay terminal? Is it fairly easy to catch a cab downtown or do I need to make arrangements ahead of time?

Thanks.

Yes, there is but bus is faster I think. It's crazy in HB these days with ferry traffic so it would be wise to prearrange if you need to be somewhere during the busy months.

You can download an app for North Shore Taxi.

I would reserve a North Shore Cab taxi, over a Sunshine taxi, for the HB terminal passenger pick up and give them your name. Then call them when you are on the ferry to confirm your arrival time. The ferry might be running late, so update or reconfirm your arrival time.

$50 into city centre at Georgia and Granville and 30 minutes minimum, depending on the day and time of day.

Yes, in the village, by the exit to the terminal. However, if there is a 250 bus, I would suggest taking this. It's a B-line (limited stop) service that will get you into Vancouver in 45 minutes at minimal cost. They run every 30 minutes

Just a wee correction, if I may. It is the #257 Vancouver Express that is the B-line to downtown. The #250 is a milk run along the lower road, with bus stops at every second block.
