Honeymooning

We are honeymooning in the area for about 9 days/ 8 nights. We want a serene play to stay with a kitchenette. We also want to be able to lay in the sun with coming back to our room to eat ,make drinks, etc. We are also looking for activites to do during the night and during the day. Where should we stay. We want champagne on beer budget. A nice microbrew budget, though. Help! Thanks

Suggest the Grand Hotel, which is downtown on the lake and close to City Park. You don't mention when you will be here but check kelownaevents.info for activities going on in town. Another site to check would be castanet. The downtown core would offer good walks, beach, many restaurants, pubs and most of the evening activities. If you want a motel then check out Abbott Villa.
