We're in our mid twenties looking for a place to bring in the new year in lake Louise. We're thinking a bar or something but haven't heard much... Any suggestions?
Not much in the way of choice since there are only a handful of hotels/restaurants. The options tend to be more cozy & family friendly than hopping nightlife.
It's probably too late for anything at the Chateau Lake Louise - anything there would be reservation only for non guests. Bill Peyto's at the hostel doesn't stay open late. Your best bets are probably the Outpost Pub at the Post Hotel or the bar at the Lake Louise Inn. I think there's also a place in the tiny mall, but I don't know if they will be open late.
If you want something with nightlife, Banff is a much better Banff.
