Hi, are there any car parking charges at Lake Louise or Sunshine ski areas? Thanks in advance.
There is a small priority parking area at Louise, where you can pay to park extra close to the lodge. Otherwise, parking is free there.Edited: 20 March 2017, 04:59
As a visitor of the National Park, you are required to have a National Park Pass in your vehicle. In 2017 the Canadian National Parks are free, but you still need to have a Park Pass displayed. You can pick up this pass at one of the Park entrance gates or at one of the visitor centres in Banff or Lake Louise.
Enjoy your time in Banff National Park!
No car parking charges at Sunshine Village either, which is a different question than the need for a National Park Pass.
L.L Ski has a ton of parking but it can get crowded. Also remember not to over indulge as there is often road checks coming back down the hill towards the village.
