hiking in San Guiseppe Iato

The "Sicily" Blue Guide describes several hiking trails in San Guiseppe Iato from which one can encounter recently excavated Greek ruins. Has anyone walked in this area? Any recommended trails?

Thanks for your advice.

“Landscapes of Sicily”, "Walking in Sicily" and the “Sicily - Rother Walking Guide” offer excellent trekking information and maps.

Prego SantaFeHiker,

This is defintiely an off-the-beaten-path area, but rich and rewarding.
