I am visiting Toronto for 2 weeks in December so looking for recommendations for winter boots. Am coming from New Zealand and have never been anywhere so cood before 😊.
I wore running shoes the whole time I lived there. If you're only coming for two weeks, don't buy anything until you arrive. The weather could be nice (10C to 25C) or rainy or icy or cold.
December can be anything.
Agreed. Wait until you arrive and see what the weather is like.
You'll have no problem finding boots, in all price ranges, when you get here.
If you own a pair of Blundstones, bring those ... pick up a pair of liners when you arrive. I wear mine all winter. Most important is something to keep your feet dry... it won't be too cold in December (although colder than what you are used to).
I believe LeeJaye's post left out the "minus" sign in the temperature. +10°C to -25°C
