Alamo Website Price

The Alamo site quotes a price then asks about insurance liabilities you can choose. Are any of these mandatory? Alamo is one of TripAdvisor's preferred car rental firms. As such I trust the price quoted is 'out the door' unless I choose more insurance coverage. I still get nervous about bait and switch. The site quotes $100 for nine days but reviewing the insurance options, one looks to be 'required' which takes the price to $320.

Hi

TPL is required. The other insurance options might be covered by your credit card. Check.

I also compare the price on the US Alamo website and the Mexican Alamo website.

Thank you Pacific. The MX site is much more expensive than the US site but maybe they include the TPL. Thanks for educating me on the lingo.
