Art Walk season has begun. Galleries, dancers, music, vendors...such a great time!
Also enjoy the Carnival atmosphere of the Sat organic Market from 9 am until 3 pm across from the historical area on the other side of the Estuary.
Tuesday evening local vendors add many tents in the town square and sell interesting art, crafts and other Items.
Always something going in this interesting area.
Thanks for the reminder Rocky. I haven't been to the Saturday market. I would like to check it out.
strange, every time we have gone into town there was nothing going on and very quiet....
Oh we go to cabo too but always had hoped to see some stuff set up in town or it busy and always quiet
What is the easiest way to get to the Saturday Market. I've looked at the map on the website and assume the local bus will take you across on East Cape? do you know which bus that is? or is it walkable from Plaza Mijares?
It is walkable from the town square. Its on the other side of the Estuary.
A taxi or Uber is the best way.You can walk, but that road can be very dusty.
You can see the market on Google maps. Basically, if you are at the corner of Jose Maria Morelos (same street as La Lupita) and Av Centenario, you cross Centenario and turn right down a dirt road. Walk for 5 minute and you are there.
Oops...didn’t see Rocky’s map. That shows it perfectly.Edited: 18 November 2018, 02:07
