Menus at The Royal in Cancun

Does anyone have copies of the menus for the Coffee Bar, Lobby bar drinks and Room Service?

We booked a reservation next door at Il Pescatore as well and wondering if anyone can comment on that restaurant-menu, quality, speed of service? I have been reading lots of positive reviews about this Italian restaurant so far and found a few photos online, it looks really nice. Thanks for your input.

I don't have the menus but you can find the room service menu that somebody posted once by searching past forums.

Il Pescatore was not very good all around. The service was below that at the Royal nor was the food as good IMHO. They allow kids, so the place is a bit of a mishmash designed to please both adults and children and it doesn't quite work. It's ok if you are staying a long time to try something else, but you will probably be disappointed.

If you are there only for a short time, stick with Maria Marie, the Chef's Plate and Asiana or Pelicanos. The food and service are better. We never tried the Tapas spot or Spice (buffet).

Hope this helps a bit.

We actually really like Il Pescatore and found the ambiance, food and service to always be great. We always make a reservation to eat there during our stays. We do tend to travel during non kid vacation times though.

The Royal does have an iphone app with most of the menus on it.

Maria Marie's & Asiana are absolutely wonderful. We spent 1 night at the Italian restaqurant next door and were not impressed with the food. We wished we had stayed at the Royal for dinner- no comparison in my opinion.

We really enjoyed the Italian restaurant. We inquired at the Royal if reservations were required, and if there was a dress code, (we did not realize it was an "elegant" restaurant) and they said no. However, when we arrived we found it was just the opposite. Fortunately we arrived early evening so the host was accomodating. We were pleasantly surprised. I love Italian food. The waiter and food were excellent. Service was fast, but remember we went early in the evening.... There were a couple of children there, but did not bother us.... Both of us really, really enjoyed it, and would definitely make it a point to return to this restaurant if we return to the Royal.

The Coffee Bar at the RC uses liquid coffee concentrate, comes out a machine, just like the one in the 24 hr club..Usually there is a bottle of Kahula and an Irish Cream to add..never really saw a menu, but they offer really good pastries, banana's, sometimes an apple and occasionaly a cold cut sandwich..

The good thing is Coffee Bar opens at 6 am for you early risers..Spice opens at 7 am..
