Royal West Indies Resort same as Turqoise Cove Beach Club?

Does anybody know if the Turquoise Cove Beach Club in South Caicos is the same as the Royal West Indies resort?

If so, can you give me some information about the resort, i.e. rooms, diving, food etc. This would be our first time at the T& C and I don't know if South Caicos is part of the main island.

Appreciate your answer.

south caicos is a different Island all together... Royal West Indies is a condo type resort on the Island of Provo....I just returned from RWI 2 weeks ago and loved it!!! ... Take a look at it here on tripadvisor.

Are you looking to trade a timeshare?

If so, the only 2 on Provo (the main island) are Alexandra and Coral Gardens. Both have extremely long wait lists for trades (3-5 years)

South Caicos is extremely sleepy, extremely hard to get to. Requires flight from Provo, and South Caicos is known for just diving.

I could be wrong, but I don't even think Turquoise Cove has even benn built yet. I will verify in Dec.

I don't believe it's been built either, Blamona. I remember seeing a pre-construction sales office on Leeward, but that's about it.

Thank you so much for all your answers. You might be right about the Turquoise Cove Beach Club; all I have seen was sketches. RCI offers that resort for exchange availability. That sure is funny!!!

I think that perhaps the best thing you can do is pull up South Caicos on Google Earth and take a look for yourself. See if you can find any property that matches the description of Turqoise Cove Beach Club, or the other resort advertised for South Caicos, the Caicos Beach Casino Resort and Marina.

The Turquoise Cove Beach Club listing under the RCI listings has a website: www.caicosbeach.com

From that website it appears everything is under construction and they only have renderings (drawings) available for what it "might" look like upon completion. If I had to guess, based on what's on the website, it looks to be a year out before the first units (buildings) are up.

Thank you Nuth for your explanation. I, myself, found out that this resort is currently under construction. I questioned RCI why it would be listed as an exchange possibility and they could not answer the question. I will keep the resort in mind for future travel.
