Arrival Night Dinner

We are finishing up our plans for our November trip but I am struggling with where to have dinner the night we arrive. Our flight does not land until 3:30 and we will be staying at RWI with a rental car. At first I thought we would just stay at the resort for dinner that evening but I wonder if we should go ahead and venture out instead. With only six nights and so many restaurants I'm torn. We already have reservations at Grace's Cottage and Provence later in the week. I'm also looking at Coco Bistro and/or Coyaba. Any advice for a first time visitor? Where would you head in our shoes? Thank you in advance!

Magnolia's in Turtle Cove

Bay Bistro at Sibonne

These are both water views with really good food.

A nice way to start off your trip.

Bay Bistro was our first night dinner last year and it a great start to the trip. Contemplating the same d

for our December trip. But there are so many options...

We are also going to be staying at RWI and the restaurant there gets mixed reviews so I’m not sure if we will try it for dinner or not.

Somewhere on the Beach for a casual dinner, eat at the bar and talk with the bartender, relaxing, good margaritas and fajitas, ocean view

What day of the week do you arrive. We always fly in on sundays and we stay at the royal West Indies we eat at the resort the first night and enjoy their jerk dinner special. I would check out the menu at the resort restaurant ( pelican bay) and see what other specials they have. Don’t forget they have a 2 for 1 special happy hour

For your consideration.... Le Bouchon, Seven, Via Veneto and El Catador to be added to the list you already have going.

Personally, I would go to Coco Bistro instead of Coyaba. Definitely would keep Magnolia and Bay Bistro.

Don't forget the chocolate souffle at Grace's Cottage.

After a long day flying do something fast and delicious. Just across the street (in front of Casino)

Jacks Fountain. Tableside guacamole is awesome!

Sharkbites, easy, on the water and nothing to fancy. A first night tradition for years.

Pelican Bay has a great happy hour and good food. Or Jack's Fountain, across the street. After flying and getting settled, dip in the ocean and short walk, I would want to stay close.

First night is easy. You want the best. Caicos Cafe

We all have different routines. If food is important I wouldn’t waste any of the 6 nights. If atmosphere and view is important then perhaps something like Bay Bistro.

Also add Le Bouchon. Flamingo’s, Hemingway’s and Chinsons for lunch.

Provence, Coyaba, Coco Bistro are some of the most expensive in Provo. Not sure if you realize that. Friends recently were surprised and didn’t know the prices prior. In fact, I’m not sure you can see their prices anywhere.

Coyaba has been around for a long time so they must be doing something right, no? With us it’s a love hate relationship
