Anna, where are you seeing a forecast of 50mph winds?

Anna, please see Windguru for wind predictions. Obviously it is not perfect but it shows green (lower winds) all week into the weekend. Believe us, you don't want -0- wind, it is WARM!

Don't know where you are seeing 50 mph, but WindGuru, the source I trust the most for wind forecasts, is showing about 14 - 20 mph for the next 7 to 10 days. Anything beyond 4 or 5 days is only a slightly educated guess anyway. See: https://old.windguru.cz/int/index.php…

While the wind has been a bit stronger than usual this year, the forecasts have consistently been quite a bit higher than what has actually occurred. Trust me, 15 - 20 mph wind will feel very good. If you are staying along Grace Bay, the wind will have blown across the island by the time it gets to you on the beach and will not feel strong at all.
