Traveling to The Sands Grace Bay need input

What restaurants are within an easy walking distance? No kids just adults. We know Hemingways is on the property. Not sure other options within close proximity....has anyone that has stayed at The Sands able to assist with information? Thank You 🌴

Grace's Cottage is located east of The Sands, at Point Grace resort. Great chocolate souffle.

Bay Bistro is located west of The Sands at Sibonne. Next to Sibonne is Somerset resort which has Pavilion. Next to Somerset is The Palms, which has Parallel 23 fine dining and 72 West that is between their pool and the beach.

There is an undeveloped lot on each side of The Sands, so the restaurants/resorts I mentioned are NOT right next door.

Thank you! This is our second trip to Turks. In terms of walking time, is it similar from walking from Ocean Club West to Coca Bistro OR more like from OCW to the Gormet IGA? Also, is it a safe walk given the empty property on each side? I assume yes, would appreciate your thoughts.... thanks again!

TurksHeadGuy gave you some great info!! We need to try Grace's Cottage!! We stayed at Sands in October: walked via the beach to Bay Bistro, LunaSea pool/bar & grill at Somerset; walked via sidewalk to Via Veneto, Le Bouchon, The Landing. Have never stayed at OCW but Sands is probably a little farther walk to some of these than OCW. Regarding safety: we normally walk to dinner before dark; sometimes walk back, sometimes call a cab for the return. Do carry a small flashlight w. you or use your phone app...some areas are not well lit!! Sands is a great location, several restaurants an "easy" walking distance for us (we enjoying walking, walk several miles a day at home & on Grace Bay) but use good judgement when walking after dark. We are normally back at the resort by 9!! Enjoy your stay at Sands!!

Sands is a little further walk than OCW to the hub of Grace Bay for shopping and restaurants - I say about 5-10 minutes more. Longer walk to grocery store. Some secluded areas. Our daughter who usually opts to stay at the Sands and loves it there, usually takes a cabs back after dark.
