Do you need voltage converter

We are going on our trip Feb.4th/o6 and need to know if we will be able to charge an electric scooter needed for mobility. Also will a cell phone work. We will be staying at

the Royal Decameron in Montego Bay.

The voltage in Jamaica is 115v 60hz. just like the states and canada, and the plugs are the same.

I have no idea about the cell phone, I left mine at home and turned off. (thats what vacations are for.)

Coming from Canada I think the only phone that will work is Rogers...They have a partnership with cable wireless in Jamaica

Hi I used my cell phone in Mo Bay last year and I have Fido. Be prepared for a BIG bill though if you use a cell it's a few dollars a minute but it's good to have the security to call home. If you call your cell phone provider they can tell you if it will work and the exact charge amount. Anymore questions just ask!
