The Zilara is an adult section of a family resort. Folks that are 18 and over on the family side have unlimited access to nearly all the facilities (pools, bars) of the Zilara. It is the former Ritz Carlton. Most of the eateries are in the family-oriented Zara. Here is a satellite image: wikimapia.org/…b
Secrets is an adults only resort with two named sections (Wild Orchid and St. James with each having an upgraded preferred category). Secrets is located on a peninsula that extends into the water of Montego Bay (again, a satellite image: wikimapia.org/…b ). Most of the activity is on the Wild Orchard side (pubs, bars, eateries, nightclub). There are some venues that are walkable off campus such as the adjacent Hard Rock Cafe. The guests of the nearby Breathless resort have full access (but not vice versa); Secrets does get cruise ship visitors until 4pm (or so) when in the nearby port.
Have you been to both? Which is nicer?
