Connecting flights in PUJ

To use our Aeroplan to fly to Panama, one of the flight options is a connection at PUJ. Can anyone comment on such a connection, from Air Canada Rouge to COPA. According to puntacanablogs.com/blog/… both airlines fly in and out of Terminal B. Don't know whether this is always true. If one flies into Terminal A and the other to Terminal B, the airport map I can find online seems to indicate that there is no connection between the two terminals without having to come out, i.e. going through immigration. Can anyone advise? In particular, whether we can stay on the air side without having to go through immigration and security.

Correct there is no way to travel between the 2 terminals. If they are using different ones then yes you must exit then re-enter. Unless security can golf cart you between them

…businesscatalyst.com/tablet/airline-listing… Shows Air Canada using Terminal A and Copa using Terminal B.
