Hamilton city food festival

Going to be in Bermuda on September 20th and 21st and was wondering about the city food festival. Any thoughts on the chef competition and the wine tasting. Worth the money or should my wife and I just enjoy a meal at one of the local restraunts and walk around town. Thanks

Bear in mind....that your cruise ship (NCL 'Breakaway' or Carnival 'Pride') will be berthed out at King's/Heritage Wharf, at the Royal Naval Dockyard complex, located at Bermuda's far west-end. The most convenient mode of personal transport between Dockyard and downtown Hamilton will be the BLUE--Dockyard-Hamilton public ferry route (approx. 20 mins)--

BERMUDA--Handy Reference Map--

The potential '..catch..' will be your return to Dockyard. The last-run-of-the-evening for the BLUE roiute ferry back to Dockyard will depart the main ferry terminal in downtown Hmailton at 8:30 PM.

The alternatives for the return to Dockyard will be the #8--Hamilton-Via Middle Road-Dockyard from the main bus terminal in downtown Hamilton (approx. 60 mins). The last-run-of the evening for the #8 bus route will depart the main Bus terminal in downtown Hamilton at 10:45 PM.

....OR...an expensive taxi fare
