2. how to go from hotel to city center and is it far?

3. things to do outside hotels (nightlife, shopping malls, recommended restaurants)

Taxi fare is US$21.00, ectra on Sunday

Turn left out of airport arrivals building.

Hotel is in center of town, many dining opions and shopping in town, bus to low and high rise hotel area 10 minute walk from hotel, L10 line.

Suggest Driftwood for seafood, El Gaucho for steaks in town, Dutch Pancake House for breakfast.

1. Note that the taxi fare may be higher depending on the amount of luggage you have.

2. Downtown places to dine include:

Barefoot

Yemanja

Wilhelmina

Fred

Driftwood

Hopi Bon

Italy in the World

Iguana Joe's

3. Be sure to visit Renaissance Island

Enjoy.

Hi there:

Please consider renting a car, and exploring all Aruba has to offer. It is totally safe and well worth it. Natural pool, secret natural pool, baby beach and many great restaurants, like Zee Rovers that are locally run.

Definitely spend time on the private island and if the surf isn't too rough, squeak through the rocks to do some snorkeling on the outer-side of the private islands swim areas.

If you don't have a car, staying 'downtown' at the Ren is great as there are many places to walk for dining.

Yemanja, West Deck, (plus, if you're AI, - the restaurants that the Ren offers, like L.G. Smiths).

Still, my most favourite place to go. Aruba, I miss you!

p.s. Curacao got nothing on Aruba, just sayin'.

Congrats. Have fun.

Walk outside the airport, taxis are there.

There is a lot to see and do near your hotel. Good shopping on name brand items.
