Things to do at night in Anguilla

We are planning a trip to the Caribbean in December with our three kids, who are in their late twenties and early thirties, and are considering staying at the Four Seasons in Anguilla. I am wondering if there are things for them to do in the evening. Some of the posts mention music at night. Or is there another island that would be a better choice?.

We love to hear Omari at Veya on Monday nights and he is also playing at other places during the week. We love to hear Omalie 360 at Ocean Echo during Sunday afternoon. I am sure that after Cap Juluca opens there will be music at night there. Check the 4S schedule also as they often have music. Sunday afternoons are very big for music at many places.

In December, there is music somewhere every night, many nights at Four Seasons, or within walking distance at Waves, Ocean Echo and Straw Hat.

Anguilla is not a party island. Many folks work at least two jobs, and they need their sleep. So, there are no clubs, no casinos. What Anguilla has are great restaurants, great people, great local bands, and great beaches.

In Sandy Ground Elvis' is popular at night. No night action in Shoal Bay East

DJ Sugar on Sandy Ground on Sunday night was a fun/interesting scene :-) :-) I would just check out the music schedule right before you leave and go from there!

HowardC, there is nightlife on Shoal Bay East. Madeariman has something most evenings: DJ, karaoke, live band or acoustic. Zemi has entertainment a few nights a week (particularly Wed. for the West Indian BBQ) as did The Manoah, in season.

My sons and friends who are in the age group mid twenties to early thirties enjoy partying at The Dune which will be reopened by December, Elvis and Dad’s in Sandy Ground. The bar at Four Season also has music and they enjoying hanging out there as well, although the cocktails are $$$.

Be warned - Taxis can be very pricey and sometimes not easy to get hold of late at night, so if you can make arrangements with a local driver at the start of the holidays it will be an advantage.
