Getting out and about

Hi all you experts

We are staying in the Grand Mirage for two weeks in September. i understand Tanjung Banoa is a fairly quite area and thats fine.

Being there for two weeks we are looking at getting a few trips in to see the sights.

Were would be the best place to visit late afternoon/eveining to experience the strreet scene IE stalls-shops-markets restaurants and all the hustle and bussel that goes with that.

Is it easily done from our base of the Grand Mirage.

Thanks for any advice.

You could get dropped off at legian head to the beach and watch the sunset then take a look around the markets. There's plenty of restaurants around this area.

Agree with Legian, not as busy as Kuta and not as expensive as Seminyak, but still plenty to do, good restaurants, markets and beach area.

We have stayed at GM

Transport easy, bluebird taxis, ring up and book or a driver out front of hotel.

We have tended to do a couple of day trips

And then do an few afternoons in Sanur/ legion Kuta.

Remember though that the traffic is horrendous so figure that into your travel times!
