We are a family of 3 planning to visit in the next couple of weeks from Delhi
1) best mode of trans to reach the place - driving or train?
2) what's the best place to stay for (my parents and me)
3) what's the weather like .. is AC req (for AC rooms)

1. Car would be convenient mode. Though, you can avail train from Delhi to Kotdwara, Delhi Garhwal Express (14044), arr. Kotdwara at 02:20 PM
(duration: 7h 30m).
2. Blue Pine Resort is a good accommodation in Lansdowne.
3. In normal climatic condition, AC may not be required in Lansdowne.

The road is good and safe. You can drive on your own.

1. It is better to drive down from Delhi to reach Lansdowne. The roads are good & safe.
2. Kasang Regency & Blue Pine Resorts are good accommodation.
3. Rooms in Kasang & Blue Pine are non AC. AC is not required in Landsdowne. The weather is pleasant. Also the rooms are well ventilated.
Enroute to Lansdowne you can stop at Monty Millions, a restaurant at Mirapur.
