where should we take a break

delhi - ghaziabad - meerut - mavana - bijnor - kotdwar - lansdowne

pls advise f this is the correct route to follow...any place to be careful..I hav heard the road gets pretty steep after Kotdwar....awaiting revert....Cheers!

Bijnor would be ideal as this is a big town otherwise kotdwar is usually where we take a break

hi yes, wagon R is perfectly doable till lansdowne..no issue at all...november end and dec starting are the great time to be in lansdowne...you will definitely enjoy it

There is a different route to lansdowne that can be taken bypassing the mawana meerut area which is very congested and bumpy. Instead of going into meerut one can take the bypass ie. dellhi haridwar meerut bypass road upto khatauli. Its an excellent 6 lane expressway which also saves a lot of time.

Upon reaching khatuali take the exit slick road on right side into khatauli town. On reaching the first intersection which is approx 7 km, take a right turn. Go straight crossing a flyover and drive approx 10 km till you reach Miranpur intersection. A big restaurant ( Monty million) will be on your left. Turn left and go straight till Bijnor to hit the old route. From there on go straight to lansdowne.

By taking this route you will escape the madness of Meerut mawana road and your car will thank you for it. It also saves lot of time.
