I am looking to spend two nights along the Tuscan coast and considering Scarlino, however can't seem to find much information about it?

Can anybody advise on pros and cons to the area or any other recommendations on coastal towns to stay? Looking for somewhere with cliffs and not too mainstream.

Many thanks

Hi! Scarlino is a very small village and looks nice, but I never been there.

From the map I can see that you are really close to Punta Ala and Cala Violina, nice seaside places.

As written by Orione 91, Scarlino, in addition to having good beaches, it is close to beaches even more beautiful. And this not only on the south (Cala Violina, Punta Ala), but also on the north (Carbonifera, Sterpaia; or, further, Baratti).

Google these locations to see their features (bearing in mind that often websites are only in Italian)
