Planning a 5D/4N trip to gangtok and pelling with a 3.5 yr old in June 1st week. Will definitely avoid Natula pass with a toddler.
Please suggest if it’s safe to visit pelling with a 3.5 yr old with respect to the drive and altitude

No issue in visiting Pelling with a toddler. You can safely do that.
Edited: 10 May 2022, 09:18Pelling is suitable for family vacation. Altitude is moderate.
You may also add Namchi and Ravangla nearby.
Thankyou ! Also how is the journey from bagdogra to pelling and then to gangtok with a kid wrt to roads/motion sickness . I am not sure how the kid will react to curvy roads as this will be her 1st trip.
We will surely cover ravangla on the way from pelling to gangtok

You can visit Chardham,(Namchi) Temi Tea Garden, Sandruptse, and Buddha Park between Pelling and Ravangla. Though it needs a detour, but worthwhile.
