Costly hotels

"tripadvisor.in" always advise to stay in costly hotels. Why?

It should taken in consideration that most of the Indian travelers come from the low middle-class income group and for that they can't afford hotels that charge more than five to six hundred rupees per night. There are thousands of travelers in India who save money from their from their hard-earned salaries to travel out. They travel in sleeper classes in trains, look out for cheap road transports, search for a hotel/lodging place as good as their home and don't think about AC rooms or multiple cuisines but dal, roti and sabji to feed themselves. Please think about them also but not only for those who can afford air-tickets and luxurious hotels.

Thanking you.

1. Re: Costly hotels

Is TA.In separate from TA worldwide? I think the country simply governs the operating language while the recommendations are common, which in turn means that TA recommends the "best" hotels as rated by ALL members. That may mean that the recommended hotels are expensive ones, but that is by no means always the case - often very good cheap hotels score higher than just "good" expensive ones, often by virtue of their value for money.

TA, incidentally, does not recommend - it ranks hotels by member recommendation.
