Garibaldi Lake Hike Advice for Beginners?

Hi all

My fiance and I are travelling to Canada next August and were wondering whether it is possible to over 3 days to do Whistler, Joffre Lakes hike and Garibaldi Lakes hike. I would say we are beginner hikers but willing to have a go or is it just way to ambitious and we will get exhausted?

Thanks

Maybe you should change your handle to Exhausted 'r Us it would certainly suit.

Top Tip-there are dozens and dozens of fine hikes that aren't featured in every article on the interwebs.

Haha yep! Ironically my TA name was one randomly generated by TA. Probably should change it so people don't think I am a pro hiker!

The main issue is the vertical. If you are going to be challenged by the climbing, then it may be too much for you. (I should clarify, hikers use the term "vertical" just to mean the total feet of climbing over the distance. It doesn't mean you will actually be climbing a vertical face on the trail.)
