Crocodile Bridge is a Gate Camp. This means that it is on the park Boundary and the Crocodile Bridge Gate into KNP enters right into the Camp. This therefore means that, if you are staying outside the park, you can join game drives from the camp. Leave your car in the camp. You will be allowed to leave by the external gate at the end of the drive. You are given a few minutes extra to get to your car and make it to the gate before it is closed for the night. To compensate for having the gate staff late the fee for the "External Drives" are a bit higher than the standard KNP drive fees.

Will you have transport to get from Marloth to Crocodile Bridge?

Yes can you can stay in Marloth Park but as lamlee says you will need transport to get to the nearest gate (Crocodile bridge is about twenty minutes away). It is also best to phone the gate and book in advance for your sunset drive, especially during school holidays.

Yes my first thought also is do you have a car? Not just for getting to the drive but then to be used during the day inside the park also?

We have never needed one but I think it does depend what language yours is in, needs to be English but will let others add to that

I do know you need one with a photo.

yes.... mine is in english with photograph on it.

there are few odd people saying that they were asked for IDP.

but Expert contributors on south africa forum are saying English with photo will do good.
