Hi..I will stay at bayview hotel in Kuah city.which is the best place to have Indian food.
Thank you sir
I don't mean to be rude, as i really am curious - but why is it that so many ppl from India go travelling abroad but need to know where they can get indian food whilst overseas. I just find it a little strange to go to a new country, and then not want to eat there food. As said, in just curious to know that's all
I often wonder that too! However, it could be that they are Jain, which means they follow a very strict vegetarian diet.
You could be right Steady, but then shouldn't they be then asking for Jain indian restaurants thou? Just boggles my mind that ppl would want to travel to New destinations, and then not experience something as unique as that countries food.Edited: 30 March 2018, 18:10
Lots of people want to travel but still want it to be "like home" and are not prepared to try other things. Pointless travelling really if that is the case.... ;o)
some people just like to understand what they are eating. hence the popularity of western, pizza, italian and fish and chips restaurants.
quite close to Bay View is the Langkawi Curry House. it is a truly Indian style restaurant, open from early morning to evening, with a mostly buffet-style thali menu. cheap and good, and recommended by my Indian friends. Find the Indian Temple, and keep walking to the end of the street.
to get directions - put your starting point into the map on this page:
we have quite a large Indian population on Langkawi and I go several times for a late breakfast to one of the too many to list them all.
My very favorite is the Indian opposite Langkawi Parade, the large shopping mall in town.
Second choice for me is Curry House in Kamdar Road,
We want Indian food bcoz many of us are veg.no egg no chiken
