Whitesands Bamburi

Staying at the Whitesands shortly. Are there any restaurants/pubs close enough to walk to around there or am I looking at taxi's? Any reccomendations would be appreciated. Also visiting an oprhanage towards Malindi, any hotels up that way. Cheers.

For restaurants, bars, things to do, etc, close to Whitesands, (including a map of where everything is) please see the FAQs on the right of the forum page ⇗

(Note that La Marina and Moorings restaurants do a free pick up and drop service, and that Monsoons has a local taxi that will take you for around a third of the cost of as hotel taxi)

As for hotels 'towards Malindi' in order for people to better recommend hotels, can you say where the orphanage is?
