Will any bars, restaurants, shops etc be open?

We are thinking of doing a quick week at the end of April, just wondering if anything will be open, or is it too early in the season? Not expecting much to be open, just need to be sure we can get fed and watered and if so, an indication of prices would be great. Thanks.

Some of the other European countries start their summer schedule a couple of weeks before the UK so restaurants start opening up late April. You won't get the full choice but won't go hungry.

Evening meal will cost 30 to 40 euros for two depending on type of meal you have and what drinks you choose.

Hello, on April most of the tavernas even in touristic plces in Agia Marina and Platanias start the season( usually after Easter) so u won't have any problem to find food or drinks. Also many bars are located in the city of Chania
