relationship to Booking.com

I have been a member of trip advisor for several years and have valued the information I have obtained from you, and also contributed reviews.

Recently I became aware that your booking of hotels is done via Booking.com.

I have had negative experiences with Booking.com and do not want to ever do business with them again.

Is there a way I can use your website without going through Booking.com?

Thank you.

Booking.com is one of a number of third party booking companies that advertise in TA. You can avoid Booking.com by choosing another third party website. Best of all is to book directly with the accommodation. That way there is nobody between you and your hotel stay. TA do not do bookings. The traveller clicks on a third party booker of their choice.

There is no need to use any third party to book accommodation, particularly not through TripAdvisor.

And, while Booking dot com might not be the ultimate, I think it could be worse, if one went through another “partner,” Cancelon.

I always book direct, ot through AMEX Fine Resorts & Hotels.

Best of luck,

When you search for hotels via TA you get sent to 3rd party booking sites.

There is no reason for you to go to booking.com.

Out of curiosity, what were these negative experiences with Booking.com?
