Typos and spelling errors

I recently tendered you my review of Mary's Resort in Fort Lauderdale, FL. There were some minor typos and spelling errors.

It would be great if you could correct those for me. Your corrections will have absolutely no impact upon the content of my review.

However, by providing your "Reviewers" the opportunity to take advantage of a proposed "corrected" review prior to their posting would provide a more polished product from your end. It would also spare the "reviewer" the embarrassment of the public being exposed to his or her mistakes.

Hi

TA will not correct these for you. The only course of action you do have is to ask for it to be deleted and then resubmit it

As has been said lots of times it is always best to construct reviews in Word and then once you are happy with it for you to C&P it into TA

Either that or you down download a web based spellchecker and correct things that way

TA does have a preview feature prior to the submission becoming final so you can pick up any errors prior to it going beyond the point of no return

Also, even if TA staff were to take on the task of editing, there will always be things that aren't caught, or cases where it's necessary to check back with the author to see what was meant. In my recent reading of a professionally edited and published book, I was a litle startled to find the word "sextant" (a navigational instrument) used when the word "sexton" (a synagogue official) was clearly meant. And then there's the perpetual confusion between "your" and "you're", "its" and "it's", "they're" and "their", which most spellcheckers won't catch.
