Why is the offline functionality for a travel app/site poor?

I have used your app for years travelling the world, recently you have made it incredibly hard or impossible to download information to use offline. You are supposed to be a travel site, which means traveling to new countries that may not have cell coverage, wifi, or my phone carrier. What good are you to me now? I spent 15-20 hours researching a trip to Cuba on your site, and nothing was available offline. I am livid with this, don't pretend to be a travel site if you can not use the information when you travel!!! In my humble opinion, I am guessing you have monotized your customers with ads, click page revenue, etc. that is all increased if the user stays online, and thus made the product useless. Now you are just a paid shrill for restaurants and hotels.

That cannot be correct - TA themselves state

I only use the full site-the App is inadequate for proper travel planning
