Carnival Sensation or Fascination

Two of my girlfriends and I are going to take our 18 year old sons on a 3 day bahamas cruise with carnival. We are trying to decide between these two ships? Does anyone have any knowledge of comparing the two? In particular the boys are hoping for a basketball court. Does anyone know if there is one on the Sensation? (I can't find that information)

Thanks!

I took my first cruise on the Sensation but have never been on the Fascination. It has been a while since I was on the ship, but I think I remember seeing basketball courts on all of the Carnival ships I've been on.

IF you have any more specific questions, let me know!!

Website www.vacationstogo.com answers your basketball question: Fascination has a court, Sensation does not. Check the features of the 2 ships on these 2 pages:

http://vacationstogo.com/ship.cfm?shipid=106

If you're flying from New Hampshire only for this cruise I'd recommend Fascination (which I've sailed on) over Sensation (which I haven't): Getting from Orlando (MCO) airport to Port Canaveral is a much harder/longer/more expensive shuttle ride than the easy/quick/cheap taxi ride from Miami (MIA) airport to Miami port.

I would not recommend the Sensation. My husband and I went on a 3 night cruise to the Bahamas on the Sensation this past December. We were very disappointed in the ship - it is one of Carnival's oldest ships - it was very difficult to navigate the layout of the ship, plus we were very disappointed in the food.

Definitely go with the Fascination.

Enjoy your trip!
