Hi,Does anyone know the type of plane tui or Monarch use when flying to dalaman Turkey?
Tui (as they are now known) will more than likely be a B737-800.
I'll bet it's got 2 wings, one tail and a couple of engines that go vroom vroom vroom.

If it's Monarch, it'll more than likey be an A320/A321, if it's TUI, it'll more than likely be a 738

I fly damn near every week, so the plane is fairly irrelevant to me.
It needs to go up; then down; hopefully under control. Beyond that it's all gravy.

I'm a bit different than Rick, though quickly admit that his criteria are VERY high in my list of "desires," in that I also like to know the ship, and have made many flight purchases, predicated on aircraft "scheduled."
Now, between A-319/320 and B-738/9 craft in just the UA fleet, not all THAT much difference, though I do like the Airbus FC seats a bit better - on UA. Otherwise, not a world of difference.
Get to medium/long-haul, and say a 757 vs 767, and I have preferences.
I like the A380, but don't have much chance of flying that shorthaul!
Does it matter? You can tell the aircraft type by looking at the seating plan during booking with Monarch. Aircraft type and even airline at subject to change so what is schedule now, with either airline, may not be whatyou ultimately get.

This is completely OT, but that reminded me that for a brief time in the late 70's Pan Am actually flew a 747 (after arriving from LHR) between SEA and PDX which is barely over 200 km.
