Everyone was so sweet from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. The service was amazing. The staff held the doors open for us anywhere we went and made sure we were well-accommodated. While we were checking in, they provided us with cold beverages and drinks right off the bat. We happened to come on a busy weekend when they had events planned but despite the commotion they made sure we felt comfortable at every moment. The bar and restaurant here is open 24 hours so you never have to leave the hotel if you don’t want to. The area can seem a little daunting to walk through bc it’s a small block but rest assured that there are plenty of security at the hotel to make sure you feel safe during your stay. PLUS the beach is RIGHT THERE!!! Oceanside view. 10/10 would stay again.

We knew we were going to see a dinner show, but did not expect CHIC! This production goes on for over two hours while being fed some amazing food and drinks. The pre-show and happy hour was fantastic as well. These are top class performers and this show is worth every penny.

We were walking around the area and found this place. It is located on a strip mall . There is a bank and a few small shops as well. Great lunch specials . Rice, beans, salad, stewed chichen/pork or fried chicken, rice plantains and plenty. Friendly and serviceable staff. Located on a second floor. It is also a cigar, bar, and lounge at night. Go at lunch and sit on the terrace. Authentic Dominican cuisine.

We ate here one early evening in mid-February 2023. The service was good and the food excellent. My wife had the fresh catch of the day (grilled red snapper) and I had the seafood pasta. Both dishes were excellent and the helpings towards generous. Probably the best meal we had during our visit to the DR. The meals cam ewith a garlic toast starter and another small starter dish. The prices were not particularly inexpensive but the quality meant that we were delighted with our meals. Would definittely recommend and would be happy to eat there again.

A group of friends and I decided to try this bar on the day arrived. We were greeted by the 3 lovely bartenders (Marco, Dario, and Alvaro). They made us some watermelon mojitos and they were so delicious that we had to go downstairs everyday at least twice a day just to say hi and get our mojito fix. They truly made us feel at home when staying there!

This was definitely an experience 145 feet off the ground and glad that we did it. The food was okay. The staff was accommodating. Make sure your email name and payment info match if paying through PayPal otherwise you have to jump through hoops to confirm your approval of the payment. Staff was patient while we worked through it. They try to follow any dietary restrictions you may have. The dessert was a bit too wet in texture. The transportation cost was expensive for a 4 minute ride at $15 each (3 of us together) round trip. The picture cost was insane $20 for 1 picture or $150 for 49 of them. They dropped the price but still too expensive when they are only going to email you a link not print them. I think at least 1 should be included in the price of the ticket to entice one to purchase more.

Seeking an escape from the bland food at our “all inclusive” resort, this restaurant was a very welcome discovery - freshly cooked, tasty, authentic, Mexican food. The owner (Sr Pastrata) was a very friendly, welcoming, gregarious gentleman originally from Mexico City and the staff were also very helpful and friendly. The spicy salsa On the side” was some of the best I’ve every tasted. I also loved the margueritas. We loved this so much the first time, we came back a second time. The dishes were all very good value and the owner helpfully and correctly warned us that we initally had ordered too much.

Hands-down the best food and cocktails in Los Corales and El Cortecito (and maybe all of Punta Cana). This place could hold its own in Brooklyn or LA, both in terms of ambience and quality, but the pricing is on par with the rest of the neighborhood, and in some cases even less expensive. Just a short walk past the loud, overpriced restaurants closer to the beach, this classy spot has elevated Dominican and international food with the kind of service you'd expect at an upscale Manhattan restaurant. Our favorite server, Daniel, spoke great English and consistently recommended food and drinks that knocked our socks off, so that we started letting him choose for us! My favorite drink was the Machu Picchu, while my husband's was the El Chapo--but every single cocktail was sublime. We would have paid $15 at home in NYC for drinks like that, but they only cost $4 at La Bruja. Our favorite dishes were the fish tacos, the pork belly mofonguitos, the ceviche, the short rib, and the Greek salad with octopus, but my guess is that you can't go wrong here. If you're sitting outside, spritz your calves and ankles with bug spray, sit back, and enjoy your evening. The menu is big enough that you can come back again and again and have a new experience each time.

We loved going here on Tuesdays for their tacos and chinola margaritas. We tried every single taco, and loved them all, but we particularly liked the two shrimp tacos, the al pastor, and the carne asada. They also have great platanos maduros. The Tuesday deal is great ($2 margs and $1.75 tacos), but it's a popular night, so we recommend looking up the menu before you go and putting in your full order when the server first seats you. Otherwise, the wait can get kinda long, especially if you're sitting at one of the picnic tables on the beach. If you sit near the bar, service is faster. But either way, great food and drinks (for an incredible price) is worth any wait!

My husband loved the boca chica dish. Problem was, I got one too, and I'm not a fan of fried fish in general. Regardless, it tasted really good. Place looks amazing, we had awesome drinks. I think our order got lost in translation, so we ended up getting 2 orders of the boca chica, one with rice, and the other one with salad =( What we wanted was, one boca chica with rice and salad for my husband, and croquetas for me, plus the drinks. We ended up getting 2 fish, and no croquetas. I'm not one to send a food back, so I sulked and ate it quietly, but not happily. I also didn't know how to communicate it efficiently with the waiter, given that my Spanish is just elementary level. I ended up giving half of my fish to my husband, who devoured it!!!! The place gets packed every night we walked by it. Making reservations is highly recommended. Also, kudos to the restaurant for making their staff wear masks. It's the only place I saw that the workers are still masked.

This restaurant is the saving grace of Bavaro for Vegans. The food is delicious and really filling with the large portions. Her lunch bowls are divine and is generally concerned about the health of her customers. A rare find in Punta Cana. The restaurant is only serving for pickup only because of COVID and is definitely worth the additional scheduling.

We had such a wonderful experience with all of the staff here at the Gabi. Fidel Rosario, definitely went well above and beyond to make us feel like part of the family. He took great care of us while we were at The Reserve. He is truly a great person, a great waiter, and a great asset to The Reserve!!! Alexander also went above and beyond to make sure we felt like part of the family, and also took great care of us while we were at The Reserve. The bar also did not disappoint as well. The staff was excellent as always, and never let our drinks run dry, until we told them too.

When we first arrived there was only one other guest seated in a large outdoor restaurant while most people were eating at the place next door. Our waiter was nice and attentive but we were waiting for long periods of time while the waiters stood around (which is fine because there wasn’t really anyone there). I’m general, the food was really good. The tinga chicken was amazing and the barbacoa was also a highlight. Generally fun experience with some really good tacos.

I honestly don’t know if I have enough words to describe how incredibly happy we were with everyone at Kukua. My fiancé and I were getting married at another location and we had to cancel within 6 weeks due to not our needs not being met. I reached out to Rachel and she has been nothing short of fantastic since the day we talked. She was able to plan my dream wedding in less than 6 weeks. I had EVERYTHING I wanted and under budget. She truly did understand my wants and needs and helped us get them all! Rachel checked in with me constantly and reassured me the wedding was going to be magical, and it was! Mayte was also absolutely amazing! She went over the food, drinks, decor, schedule and finalized everything for us when we arrived. The big day she was nothing short of top notch. I never had one worry. She truly is exceptional at her job and it shows! I’m kids absolutely adored her. She danced and played with them for hours! She was and is a family member to us! The staff was also the best we have encountered! If we asked for something, it was done right away. They never complained and told us no. They worked extremely hard and I’m extremely grateful to all of them. During the reception the wind picked up and I had asked to move the dance inside, within 10 minutes we were all inside dancing! The food was so delicious! Everyone is still raving about the meal. We don’t eat a lot of cake in our family, however the cake was something straight out of heaven. We wanted more! I will recommend Kukua to anyone and everyone! We miss them all already and can’t wait to visit them next year!

Great place for real Italian home cooking at “A Casa di Lorenzo” located minutes away in the Plaza Coral Village Plaza. The restaurant is a great place to eat anytime, with indoor tables and tables on an outdoor patio. Six of us ordered Lasagna, various types of pasta Bolognese, stuffed pasta and a special Pork disk recommended by Lorenzo who is often at the restaurant. The generous portions arrive hot, and all were very tasty. Chili flakes, hot sauce, and parmesan cheese was provided for those who wanted it. This restaurant is recommended any night but even more amazing on Thursday (and Sunday) nights when you can order 2 pasta dishes for the price of 1. Not sure what wine to order with dinner; simply ask Lorenzo for a reasonably priced wine recommendation. We will be back again. Enjoy.

We visited Dalia's mid morning in February 2023. The place is very popular and there were only a few tables left (they have both indoor and outdoor tables). The service was good and both the cappuchino coffees (120 pesos each) and the freshly baked croissants (100 pesos each) were wonderful. In fact it was so good that we went back a couple of days later. Be sure to purchase some freshly baked bread while you are there. We highly recommend Dalia's and will definitely visit again if we are in Bavaro.

We selected this restaurant based on the recommendation of our butler, Edwin, at Majestic Colonial, and we were very happy that we did! They welcomed us as though we were old friends, and this was a wonderful DR experience! We ordered paella for two, which was truly delicious, beautifully cooked, reasonably priced, and absolutely loaded with shellfish. They brought a small green salad and fried fish bites as a free appetizer; we also ordered serrano ham with delicious bread. Everything about this place was great, and if we return to PC we will definitely go back.

this place is adorable, with amazing healthy breakfast options and nutritious all natural popsicles, which is a delightful combo. I enjoyed multiple easy relaxed mornings eating yogurt, granola and fruit bowls or a full american style ege breakfast, pancakes, anything your heart desires. Some of the staff are great and helpful with pleasant personalities, some not so much. There are umbrellas outside if you prefer eating outside. Would recommend this sweet little restaurant. ***Tip take the exact change with you debit doesn't work for debit cards only credit cards and seems staff are wanting tips often don't have change when using us dollars to pay.

Wow, talk about pleasant surprises. My wife and I were vacationing in Santo Domingo and decided to drive to the Punta Cana area. When we got there we realized we could not enter most of the good hotels because they were all inclusive. We got hungry did a search on Trip Advisor and this place came up. It is a gem the food and service was outstanding, We had the Paella de Mariscos and it was probably the best Paella I have ever had. Before that we ordered the Camarones al Ajillo and the roasted garlic in it was awesome and the tenderness was also very good. They also provided a very nice complimentary appetizer before the meal and a digestive liquor after the meal, Carmen whom is from Spain and the owner came and made us feel very welcomed. Ask for Santana he did a great job of taking care of us.

We stayed next-door. We went there for our first meal and our last meal. In between we stopped every day for their drinks. I highly recommend the garlic shrimp, seafood gnocchi, the pasta carbonara and the ceviche. Everything we had was excellent. It is a little more expensive. But the service is great. They treat you very well. It is right on the beach with plenty of spaces to chill out with a view of the most beautiful water.

We’ve just visited Carbone whilst on our 2 week holiday to DR, after reading positive reviews on here about the place. It certainly lived up to the reviews. It was the best meal we’ve had all holiday. Making a reservation was simple via WhatsApp, we arrived and were greeted by lovely servers. They were quiet so we ended up having the restaurant to ourselves but that didn’t matter. The setting is beautiful and there was a great atmosphere thanks to the music and surroundings. We had the bruschetta starter,I had a pasta dish and my partner had the fillet steak , with the passion fruit cheesecake for dessert. It was all delicious, service was brilliant and the whole meal was incredible value we felt for the quality. Highly recommend if your in the area, you won’t be disappointed!

I would agree with other reviewers when I say the service really let it down, a guaranteed 5 star otherwise. Firstly the negatives, the outdoor seating for drinks is a mess. Chairs everywhere, no order, looks like they’ve just been chucked there. Secondly the waitress that served us was really rude, annoyed we were making her walk to the table to take an order. We ordered 2 sangrias and they put tequila, whiskey and vodka in it. Laughed at us when we said we literally couldn’t drink it… no idea where they learnt to make that drink, certainly wasn’t Spain. Onto the positives. And to be clear, these massively outweighed the negatives, so we’d definitely go back!! The food was simply amazing. I’m not a massive fish eater, but we went there because my girlfriend is. Her review was that it was the best dish she’s ever eaten (the lobster with veg on the side). I had an amazing seafood pasta. Wine was great (despite an annoying attempt to up-sell a bottle at $20 more before they found the last one of the rose we wanted). When the sunset, the setting of the restaurant was amazing. Seriously worthy of some photos. Some annoying band walked round the table throughout dinner and played at you until you tipped. Thought this was tacky given the price of the place and the potentially amazing tranquil setting… Go just food the food!

The food, aesthetics and experience at Monterrey Manor were all very pleasing. And the waiter, Joel, was very astute and provided outstanding customer service. We dined on the red snapper and pasta, with roasted pepper, creamed spinach and bok choi sides. Dessert was the carrot cake and golden apple. The one fact to be informed about before you dine is that there is effectively a twenty-seven percent (27%) surcharge to every check (service charge (10%) + ITBIS (17%)). Highly recommend the food and experience, but the added 27% surcharge will make you think before dining.

So we did. We had many different beef and chicken meals, even their salads were crispy and tasty. Price was great fro the portion and service. Our server (young male) and his boss Maria aimed to please. He recommended a few drinks~local treats~ and they didn't disappoint. He willingly kept our order straight and correctly divided our bill with a party of 6 on New Years eve...after city curfew.

This is one of the restaurants requiring a reservation at the Paradisus. The service here was the best, quick seating, quick ordering process and food all came out promptly. The waiters were all great. The food was average, maybe my expectations were a little too high. The shrimp ceviche was excellent, the best starter eaten during my entire stay. The pumpkin soup was delicious, even though there were zero scallops in it. The main entree and desert were ok, nothing really great, but not horrible either, just ok. The food description didn’t always pan out to the actual item. But the atmosphere is nice, service great, drinks awesome, so stil an enjoyable restaurant.
