Special Thank you Mr Varma and jyoti madam.
This is our 2nd visit.. the first impression we got was “ oh my God, the food is so expensive “ but once we received the food, we were mind blown… it is super duper amazing.. even though most of the items in the menu is fusion style, they have not forgotten to showcase its authentic taste as well. The fusion combos are so amazing… I have tasted one of the best cocktails in Goa in Spice Mantra!!! The presentation of each and every item is simply beautiful!!! Though we initially felt, the food was expensive… In the end I must say, its worth every money spent!!! They take little bit extra time in bringing the order, but that is because, I feel They make everything fresh.. so obviously it will take time… It is not overly crowded ( probably because its slightly pricy, but the price factor is totally ignorable when we compare the quality and taste of the food), and you get the privacy too… The first day of our visit, the person who attended and suggested dishes was a Punjabi person, unfortunately I forgot to ask his name. His service was excellent.. 2nd time it was Sagar, even he was equally excellent .. both of them considered our requests .. Overall we are super happy!
It wasn’t until the last night of our holiday in Goa that we discovered this hidden gem of a restaurant. Our final evening was made hugely memorable by our experience here. It was a Friday dinner service and the large indoor/outdoor restaurant was packed. The atmosphere was cool and laid back and the service was seamless. The menu focused on east/west fusion food with a signature dish of beef wellington! We almost gave it a miss because we wrongly assumed that it might not be what us Brits expected. However, having seen plates coming out of the kitchen we decided to indulge and we were rewarded handsomely with a perfectly cooked wellington with all the trimmings. The “dome” of chocolate desserts was to die for and served theatrically by our attentive waiters.
Food was good, especially fish. Avoid beef, it was cheap but not the best - overcooked and generally Indian beef is not the best material. The owner of this place is a nice person, don't hesitate to chat with him.
Ordered the leg of lamb dish in advance and Vinny had two cooked, one with Indian spice rub and one with traditional mint and rosemary. Stunning meal with vegetables and mash for traditional lamb and aloo for the spiced lamb. A wonderful desert of gulab jamun , our favourite restaurant in Hoa and has been for years
We started with the watermelon and feta salad which was an unexpected pleasant combination. The filet steak was cooked perfectly with a warm pepper sauce and sautéed veg. Finished with butterscotch brûlée. Beer and cocktails for two under £50 represents great value for money. If I was longer in Goa I would eat here again
It's nice to come here in this resort it's amazing place. All Staff was well groomed we had food in pickled mango restaurantt,Mr.Kamal, as well ass vrushali help me alot for choosing buffet food hole property was nit and clean our experience was to good we come with small family group total 22 members were we got best service from pickled team so we satisfied it's value for money nature view resort we enjoyed .. . . . .. . This is such a nice, peaceful and relaxing restaurant. The food is so tasty and we weren’t sure what to order so the owner helped us and it ended up being one of our favourite meals in India so far! All the staff were lovely too - great restaurant!
We have used this restaurant over the years and it is as good as ever. The steaks are excellent, the biriani is superb and the food from the tandoori oven is exceptional. The temperature is usually quite high so sit near a fan. Price is very reasonable and staff very good, friendly and helpful.
You arrive at the front door and head into a wide passage which sweeps around to the bar and dining area. Attention to detail is key to the sensory explosion. From asking what drinks you like and mixing cocktails to suit your taste, to exquisite meals. I still can't get over the vegan oysters. If you shut your eyes, you honestly wouldn't know. The sensory experience begins with the presentation and continues with taste. One of the highlights of my Goa trip.
Led by Neville and his charming sons, this is simply the best restaurant in Goa. Set back from the beach, screened by shrubs and a white gatepost sits this little gem. Glorious Goan food awaits. Neville - possibly the planet’s greatest host (more later) will not upsell you. He will tell you exactly what is too much. And the food is sublime. We enjoyed some prawns which came with the most tasty crunchy salad and some pork vindaloo which, in its velvet cinnamony sauce bore no resemblance to any Vindaloo I have ever eaten in the UK. Neville commandeers his crew while keeping an attentive eye on every single one of his guests. We watched him move effortlessly between the family with the new baby (who he gently took from the mum and walked around the restaurant so she could eat), to bantering with the British gap year students to chatting with us about life long history in hospitality in Goa. You really should go, this place is an absolute gem if you like good food and a class act.
One of our favourite places to eat,the food, drinks and service was spot on.The waiter was very knowledgeable with the menu unlike numerous places we have been in.Great viewing area to watch the chaotic world go by. The price was very fair for a decent meal.
The service was above our expectations. We had little kids with us for whom the restaurant was serving as per our requirement which was appreciative. Overall the staff is very cooperative and We were cordially taken care of by Ms Atong. We are happy with her service and Mr Shubham (Manager) was always looking out for us. Thank you for your service and always smiling.
This was the 3rd time I have visited Arpora GOA in the last 5 years and this restaurant never disappoints....My family and I love this restaurant so much that during our 9 night stay we only eat in You and Me! The service here is exceptional and all the staff are so friendly it felt as is we were a guest in their home. Each dish is made fresh to order and the service was very quick too. Each dish was made to perfection and tasted Delicious. Every night the vibes and atmosphere in this restaurant was so relaxing yet had a special buzz around,,,live music and musicians on most nights we visited. The owner Dev and all his staff are so friendly we were looked after like family....There is nothing not to like about You and Me, if your in Arpora you must visit here.We wait to book our next trip and will surely be back soon!
If you are visiting North Goa don't miss the opportunity to visit this amazing shack on the beach. The food is out of this world. The staff are polite helpful and they go the extra mile to make sure that you have all you need to have the perfect day or night. Aggie is always there with a friendly smile and good advice on where to go and what to do. We spent Mothers Day evening on the beach the food and the sunset was fabulous they prepared a special meal for us which we enjoyed by candlelight. A perfect day in a perfect place
We have been regular visitors to Goa over the last 20 years but hadn't been for the last 5 years. There have been a lot of changes in that time and not all of them, have been good. But Jamies is still here, as good as ever before. Those that know this place need to come back, those that don't need to visit as soon as Mr. Modhi lets them. Basically a very, very nice fillet steak & cocktail & pavlova for 2 comes to £20. Where did it all go wrong?
This was our 2nd visit . Best to book a table as it gets very busy. The food was delicious. The bbq ribs was a good size portion and just fell off the bone. The honey chilli prawns were some of the best prawns we’ve had in Goa, big juicy and lovely flavour and plenty of them. The pies are popular and very tasty. The menu has a lot of food that we must try and all at a very good price. The service was good and the staff friendly. We’ve only been in the evening but it does have a breakfast menu which if half as good as the evening food it will be delicious. We will be back before we go home.

Do yourself a favour and visit Nicks Place. Once experienced you’ll return time and time again, just like us. The menu is a mixture of Goan/Indian/British and the food is delicious and good value for money. The staff like Tej and Nick will greet you with a warm welcome that makes you feel at home. The restaurant and toilet area is spotless and my wife had a cookery lesson and she can vouch for the cleanliness of the kitchen and prep area. If this was a British restaurant it would have a 5/5 hygiene rating. They have a proper traditional tandoori oven from which they cooked my king fish (see photo). I always hire a scooter from Nick, they are well maintained, legal and rented out at a competitive rate. You can have a cut throat razor shave or haircut across the road with Ganesh the barber. Overall this is a fantastic venue serving delicious food and a full range of beers and optics. They also have quiz and karaoke nights. This is a great venue that you should experience. Lastly Support the locals and buy your petrol from roadside vendors like the lady at Nicks Place. She charges 20 rupees per litre extra for your convenience of not travelling to a petrol station Which are not always close by.
Patio 23 was topping the TA list of restaurants at Baga. Basis TA rating visited for a family dinner. It is situated on the busy Baga road, but slightly hidden from the crowd due to its setting at an elevated place. The sitting place is open and small, only couple of tables available. Due to its open setting, probably it is open only in evening. The sitting place is nicely decorated with dim light and several plant pots, but at the same time experienced mosquito bites. Food-wise they offer nice spread of Local, Indian and European cuisine. We ordered Chicken Skewer @ Rs. 280 as starter and in main course garlic nan @100, egg veg fried rice @ Rs. 220, chicken fried rice @ Rs. 250, Chicken Kadai masala @ Rs. 310, and Chicken Xacuti @ Rs. 350. The foods were tasty. However, the serving portion, as compared to price, was small, thus made it a relatively expensive dining place. The staff was courteous and responsive. The serving time was high and they also charge extra for card payment. Overall it was a mixed dining experience.
Our 4 days at the Fairfield by Marriott by far was a pleasant stay . The hotel staff were very cordial and courteous at all times . The housekeeping and catering deserve a 5 star rating . The breakfast was multi-cuisine, they offered us parathas , to different type of dosas, to Italian & Goan cuisine and omelettes along with different types of soups and salads to start your morning . The kitchen was also opened to except our choice of detox juices. Except for the location of the hotel and the entry to the hotel, lack of sign boards giving direction, rest everything deserve a 👍 Our stay was a memorable one and memories to stay in our minds until our next visit .
While browsing for Goan delicacy we found this gem. Should try their xacuti and goan curry. Incase you are confused about the cuisine, take guidance from their staff and they will give you the best of goan food. Food was served in good quantity, plus you get direct access to the sea beach.
Amazing beach shack! I was recently in Goa with my family and I dropped into Stringfellows on 4 different occasions. The food and drinks here are consistently of a very high quality. I was so happy that I ordered a lobster for the following day, which I ate while watching the sunset - one of the highlights of my trip! All of the staff are very friendly and they even gave my wife, dad and I a lift back to Candolim Main Street on our last night. A special thanks also to Dennis for playing some songs which we requested on our last night!
We have breakfast here every morning and the waiters are absolutely outstanding. They take your order for eggs and make/serve your toast, tea/coffee etc We have had lunch here too and the food was fantastic with a huge potion of butter chicken and rice. The Nan bread was so tasty too.. Tonight we drank here and listened to the live music and they show sports/football especially premier league football no matter what time it’s on. A fantastic venue with fabulous staff
The stay at Holiday Inn, Candolim, Goa was a very pleasant one. All the persons right from reception, restaurant, housekeeping all were highly energetic and well coordinated. Stay has been made a memorable by the team members. Special thanks to Mr.Debasish, Mr.Sandeep, Ms.Divya, Mr. Dimpal, Ms. Iyona, Ms.Sujata etc. for make us comfortable and well taken care. A very special thanks to all the chefs you had served us the tasty, healthy food. 😋 🤗🙏
The best food among all the Shacks where we had food and drinks excluding Brittos which was a premium Shack. We started around 8 o clock and we were in this shack until 2 Am. From tittos lane you have to walk a bit long to find this shack. Excellent Friendly service
My wife and I had a delicious lunch here the other day. The menu is simply sensational offering a wide range of international dishes with presentation that gives it an edge over the competition throughout the area. The fact that all profits go to a charity to help poor children in the area makes the experience all the more special. It may be slightly more expensive than other eateries in the area but the superb food and service makes it well worth it in my opinion. I would suggest you pay this place a visit if you are in the area. If you do, you will be back for more because the menu is full of mouth watering options.
Noaa social dining is a pan-asian cuisine restaurant located in candolim. The vibes of this place is just amazing with a really great ambience. All the staff members were cordial and were very knowledgeable, you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. They made sure we had a great time. The cuisine they served us were very scrumptious. We got to try out their refreshing cocktails and mocktail. We tried Blacker chicken bao, Chiken tikka naaniza, Masman Curry, Spanish mushroom sticky rice, Spiced paneer kulchetta and Noaa's dark for dessert. Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious. Taste, service and quality all PERFECT!! Definitely a place to try out!
It's a very nice restaurant which has main road view with fan on every table. Polite waiters serve you very reasonably priced eats with reasonably priced drinks. You can smoke on your table and enjoy the outside view. Every evening a talented singer sings on karaoke which makes evening even better. They also oblige you with your choice of song.
This was one of the few restaurants in Candolim where we ate twice as the food was so good. Like a few places here it tries to please all people and serves both local and western food. We went for Indian food on both occasions and were not disappointed. They have their own tandoor oven which makes brilliant Chicken Tika and Chicken tandoori , in fact we had this twice as it is just amazing. Tried their spicy Goan veg curry made with coconut with was lovely and their Tal Tadka is very good too. Highly recommend this place, service is excellent and good value for money
