Came here with my partner for a lunch date, the interior was really pleasant and the lighting was nice, Ordered a pizza each and a couple of sides which was a really good selection, some other places don't put to much thought into the sides, so it was nice to see that wasn't the case here. The pricing was really fair considering the busy location, The ambiance was very chilled and the service was quick and attentive. The staff were very welcoming, will definitely come back for another lunch date :)

The pizza is baked directly in front of you, the price is nothing (only 3,95£ for a Margherita) and the waiting time is less than 10min. I strongly recommend this place. The pizza is very tasty + there are vegan and vegetarian options.

Seen a show and feeling peckish, we decided to have a pizza. Restaurant is situated along Leman Street and lay out of the restaurant is very well planned. We had a selection of pizzas including gluten free ones . Tried the Formaggio and Giardino gluten free and they were so tasty. Another one is the pizza with meat and cheese . A charge of £2.50 for a gluten free base was added to the type of pizza ordered. You can also select a drink from the chiller cabinet. The ambience in the restaurant was pleasant .Seating is on high stools with no backrest,so everyone tends to leave having finished their meal .

We had a lovely impromptu lunch here today. The staff were really friendly, welcoming and attentive; the food was absolutely delicious, freshly prepared with a very good selection and similarly there was a very good wine menu. We sat in the conservatory which was perfect- beautifully light and airy but simultaneously very cosy and intimate. I have no hesitation in recommending and we really look forward to returning. Thank you for a lovely lunch!

Spasso it’s a place so special and very welcome Make us feel so cosy like we are home Amazing food , we get the chefs suggestions and the special of the day ,I high recommend . Luigi was very friendly and professional his cocktails signature they are so good , we had a nice organic Italian wine , the burrata truffle it’s insane good , the porcini tagliatelle so fresh and my Gorgonzola sauce on my steak was the top top 5 stars, I was very sceptical about pizza but kitchen offer us his Napolitana pizza delicatessen and made me change my opinion, best pizza I ever try , yes we finished with dessert , we still in the heaven, tarte Napolitana with ricotta cheese , wow . Was worth the 18 stops we did from east London to willesden green next to the tube station, all staff were very politely fun and profissional. Definitely I will back and want to bring my mates to share the best Italian food drinks and vibes in town , also my girlfriend love it so much it’s perfect to dates to. Spasso please all kind of occasions looks like 👍 Mama Mia what a Spasso ❤️

I was staying at the Premier Inn, Old Street whilst working in London for two days. After a long day we were looking for somewhere for dinner and came across this pizza restaurant. There are about ten different quick 12” pizzas on the menu, three salads and a choice of a couple of dips and a couple of snack starters. I couldn’t believe the price! £6-8 per pizza, £3.50 glass of wine (soft drinks and beer also available). You order at the till and are given a pager which vibrates/lights up when you can collect your pizza. Very quick and efficient service. Clean restaurant with an appropriate level of music to enjoy, but didn’t overpower your conversation. Will visit again, Thankyou 😀

We passed on the off-chance after visiting West Norwood thirty plus years after we moved north. Although to be fair I had spotted that Manuel's had really great reviews. It is very easy to see why. The food and the service were both excellent and it was great to be able to sit outside in the evening air. My gluten free needs were very well catered for with many things on the menu bing adaptable to or fully GF. As a main I had pasta with very rich ragu. The special lobster ravioli starter was excellent (apparently). We were there when it was pretty quiet but the service was really friendly and the staff could not do enough for us. The prices were very reasonable as far as we could see (particularly given the South London location). It's a shame we live so far away.......

We arrived 15 mins late so our booking had been freed up (understandable as it's a small restaurant). The maitre'd assured is we'd have a table in 10 mins (as our theatre show was in an hour) so we had a drink at the bar and ordered. Within 5 minutes, we had a table for four and our pizzas arrived in another 5 minutes! Excellent service, lovely staff and lovely authentic pizzas. Would definitely recommend. Thank you all.

Where to start, we always come back here as food is sooooo delicious. I would like to choose my favourite meal, but this is impossible, pasta is delicious, chicken so tender and succulent, and that special omelette which we have for Saturday brunch is a must! All food is fresh and made from the best, organic ingredients. L'Angolo Bianco does not have just a tasty food, it has a heart and warmth of your mother's kitchen; owner chats with customers, everyone is more than kind, this is such a lovely, homey athmosfere! Try delicious cakes as well. My husband is very fussy about his coffee and here he is 100% happy. Highly reccommended!

A warm welcome from all the attentive staff was the cherry on the cake during a fun evening of gorgeous drinks, incredible food and brilliant music from the DJ. Beautiful setting in a great location too. Perfect for an evening with friends or a special occasion.

I booked a ‚make your own pizza‘ class and it was absolutely worth it. For what we paid, we got to make our own pizza, eat it, got delicious starters and the entertainment from the two chefs was outstanding. Truly great service. Everyone was so welcoming and we had so much fun during the experience!

I've never been to PU before but have to say their Pizza (my opinion( is better than that available at the more well known chains and all, at a price that is significantly below that of the leading national brands. 2 x 12 inch Pizza and an ok bottle of Red for less the £30. Excellent. PU was busy, yet the service and waiting time for your food remained acceptable at about 10 minutes. You place your order at the counter ; you are given a buzzer that lets you know when your food is ready ; you collect from the counter. Impressed and will go again next time I fancy Pizza in Central London.

We had a wonderful lunch at the Chelsea corner. The waitress was extremely helpful and good and the plates were very well served and tasty. Pizzas were delicious. It was our sons birthday and they kindly brought us a delicious slice of cake at the end. We had a great experience, it was value for money and everyone was very welcoming would definitely recommend.

We found a place here at the last minute on a Saturday evening, having returned to our hotel after an event, and finding ourselves hungry. We weren’t expecting much but received a lovely warm welcome, enthusiastic waiting staff who knew the menu and wine list very well. This is a simple, family run, local, Italian restaurant and every dish that we had was delicious. The wine was superb too and the warmth of the staff exceptional. If we are in Lewisham again we would certainly revisit and highly recommend this restaurant.

When you go to Oi Vita, you always leave the place happy. Happy for the amazing pizza you had, happy for the warm and friendly environment the waiters create, happy because you know a place like this in London is precious. Oi Vita’s pizza is all about quality, from the flour, to the dough and the extremely tasty toppings. The pizzas are so good you could easily eat two of them in a meal. And their desserts are the perfect cherry on top after that delicious pizza!

This restaurant is my new favourite in London. The staff is incredibly helpful and funny, the ambiance is amazing, feels very cozy and intimate, and they’re playlist just puts you in a good mood. The food is really good, we had a pinsa as a starter that was amazing and two pasta dishes that were delicious and a really big portion size. Their ice cream was also incredible. The location is really lovely, in a tiny street in Nightsbridge. Mario was really fun as well!

Outstanding food, service & attention. It's a 30 minute drive from Westminster but after you have your 1st bite of their pizza, you'll be willing to drive another 30 minutes if you had to. Great atmosphere, beautiful decor & they'll welcome you into their home with open arms & a true desire to make sure that you become a customer for life...which you will. Location makes you feel as if you live "just around the corner" somewhere. Do whatever you need to do so that you can have one of their homemade desserts after you've stuffed yourself with dinner. This experience will be the highlight of your trip & will be the only reason needed for returning to London again & again. It doesn't get any better than this!

We visited E Pellicci as we were visiting g the East End on a sightseeing and pub tour. The cafe is easily visible on the main road just past Vallance Road. On arrival we were very warmly welcomed by the female owner who is a real character. The inside has wooden art decor style wood panelling and detailing with some lovely details in the glass. There are signed pictures of East Enders actors and a still from the film ‘Legend’ with Tom Hardy playing both Kray Twins in the science filmed in the caff. The seating is close in quite a small caff but it’s comfortable and the small hatch to the kitchen is used to transport food and for the exchange of friendly banter with the clearly local and regular customers. We were seated and ordered the veggie breakfasts much to the amusement of the owner who gently rubbed us about this in exchanges with us and other customers. We enjoyed the banter with us and other customers and felt welcome and at home. The food itself came with the usual plus unusually bubble and squeak. This was a welcome addition and works really well with the beans, fried tomato etc. the egg was well cooked on a perfect slice of fried bread. Mushrooms were good. All produce was clearly fresh. We also had a coffee. Proper Italian stuff not the instant rubbish you might get elsewhere. The meal and coffee comes in at over a tenner which isn’t the cheapest, but given the quality and surroundings I’m not complaining. They also do traditional English and Italian food for lunch. This is a very friendly, fun and proper east end cafe that attracts regulars and is doing what it does well providing a great service. We were made to feel at home and given a warm welcome and good food. If I lived near, I’d be a regular.

This is by far the best Italian restaurant in London! If you ever find yourself in Swiss Cottage/South Hampstead area, you should definitely pay it a visit. The food is absolutely delicious!! Fresh pasta cooked for minutes. My personal favourite is the Gramigna salsiccia e panna pasta. I could never get enough of it! The ambiance is calm and from the moment you step inside the restaurant you feel welcomed! We’ve also ordered takeaway from their website and it was quick, easy and much cheaper than other channels.

Visited here with young kids after a long day out in London and it was exactly what we needed. Compared to the local area, prices were excellent for what turned out to be very tasty “good simple Italian food”. We had a couple of pizzas, some tortellini and a few assorted smaller bits - all hit the spot. What really stood out was the care the staff took of our kids (all under 8, youngest just 1). It was lovely to have the waitresses really go out of their way to help entertain and accommodate the children and it allowed us all to relax and enjoy the meal. This restaurant is not flashy on the inside or the outside but the food, cost and family-friendly service were all super.

Everyone at Volare was very friendly and welcoming. The menu was great and the staff were very happy to make any changes to toppings without a fuss. The pizza was absolutely delicious, probably one of the best Neopolitan pizzas I've ever had. They even put a birthday banner up and brought out a slice of tiramisu for my mum's birthday. Very, very thoughtful!

My wife and I have thoroughly enjoyed dining at Locanda del Melo at least four times in our short stay in Bermondsey (the takeout was also great) - can’t stay away. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff, an amazing chef deeply dedicated to authentic quality, and the kind, charismatic owner all contribute to some of the best dining experiences we’ve had, anywhere in the world. This is more than a ‘hidden gem’ - this is a prized jewel among restaurants for us. The food surely ranks with the very best in London - worth a long cab ride in every way!

I booked Da Mario's after seeing the good reviews on Trip Advisor for a surprise birthday weekend away in London for my wife. We were not disappointed, we were met on arrival by the owner Andrea a lovely convivial man who showed us to our table and served my wife with a glass of Prosecco for her birthday a nice touch. What followed was one of the best Italian meals weve had in the UK Served by Fernando another great credit to the restaurant we enjoyed between us Bread, Calves Liver, which my wife informed me melted in her mouth, swordfish and various sides of potatoes and vegetables and a lovely Carafe of Rose wine from Puglia recommended by Fernando. Im afraid we had to decline the desserts delicious as they looked we were very full. If your in London looking for a delicious meal at very reasonable prices please give this place a try you wont be disappointed

Every visit to Prime Gelato is a treat. We've been going for 5 years now and it is still our favourite for desserts, gelato and for made-to-order cakes. I'm a fan of the more dessert type flavours and my other orders more fruity flavours. They deliver both excellently. They have a great understanding of flavour, and the flavours are always fresh, not overly sweet. It's a small business, and they put in long hours to deliver the best gelato you'll ever taste. Some days the staff are understandably tired, but if they're always willing to serve. On this occasion I had the vegan chocolate and the vegan salted caramel ... Both flavours were rich and creamy, and the consistency excellent. For us, Prime Gelato is a year round treat, but you'd definitely do well to visit them in the hot weather.

We booked a table for 2 for a pre-football dinner. We arrived at 6pm and by the time we left there was a queue of people out the door waiting for a table. Its a small place with only approx 25 seats so definitely recommend booking. There was a reduced menu of just pizza because there was a major football match on (restaurant is directly opposite Chelsea Football ground) but all of them sounded delicious! My husband went for a spicy salami pizza and i went for a Nduja pizza. They came out in within 15 mins still bubbling from the pizza oven and i can honestly say that they are the best pizza i have ever eaten! The base and edges were thin and crispy and they had the perfect amount of delicious toppings The 2 pizzas, 2 beers and a bottle of wine came to £50 (£28 of that was alcohol). I cannot rate this place high enough!

I visited twice on my visit to London as was very impressed by the friendliness of the staff and how fast the food was delivered. The only con I would say is that they take the drink menu off of you once you’ve ordered your first drink which was slightly strange as I may have wanted to order more throughout my meal. When I requested the drinks menu again on my second visit I was given one but nobody came to ask if I would like another drink until we were about to pay. Overall a good experience.

This was our first visitto this north London venue, which was first class in all respects. We booked lunch at 1300hrs on Sunday via the company's website, and were welcomed on arrival. We selected the 2-3 course meal; both courses were delicious, being well presented and served by enthusiatic, smartly turned out and friendly staff. We were fortunate to find free parking opposite the venue; this is chargeable Monday to Saturday. Highly recommended.

Trattoria Raffaele is definitely one of the best places I’ve ever been to. To begin with, the atmosphere is so cozy and it’s s like you’re transported to a family run restaurant in Italy. Raf, the owner is so friendly and treats every single costumer like if they are part of his own family. Maria, is always with a big smile in her face and so knowledgeable about the menu that you can’t help but just trust her with your eyes closed. She’ll definitely bring you the best food, with the most lovely wine that will pair perfectly. The food is so good and fresh and the specials are often changing so you can never get tired of their menu. Amazing from beginning to end. ❤️

My partner and I just finished our second night with Caminata and after living in London for over seven years I can say with certainty that it is our new favourite spot, unrivalled by the rest of the city. Giuseppe and the team set the standard for what London hospitality should be. This hidden gem set within the heart of Balham delivers unwaveringly exceptional Italian food and even greater service. Giuseppe will make you feel like you've been a regular for years and we will be returning for many more to come. Flawless. Ciao! Dan and Beth
