The restaurant is ok. Looks nice inside, nice little bar. Service was good and the wait staff understood and spoke english enough to communicate with us. The menu in both french and english wich was a nice touch. Service was good but a bit on...the slower side, maybe not in a rush like us americans. The food was fresh and nice and hot when served. Taste was average. Overall value was good. We stayed in the chalets, rooms clean but old and need updating. Nice that they are on the lake though. Again, room prices were reasonable for what you get. We went there with the kids. This place is great for families (but it's not a fast food restaurant) or for couples. There is a small terrasse, looking at the lake, with the best view (I grew up close by). Make sure you don't miss...the sunset. There is a dock you can go walk on as well. Away from noise and busy roads. The food was just phenomenal. My wife and I had the steak bavette, my son had the hamburger, my daughter had the kid's pasta. All served on very nice hot plates which sits on a nice wooden plank. It was hard to choose, most seemed good. Desert was great too. They offer beers I never heard of before (for me, that's rare). And good ones! The service was great. Seemed a little busy but then I heard they were missing a server that night. I'd go back any time. Too bad it's too far for me...More
