The best I have had it several years. The waiter came and talked to us while our food was prepared. Great to here his stories. After... More

Decided to visit Ernest and Fidel tonight. Had a great meal. Servers were friendly and attentive. The food was spot on! Would definitely recommend E&F!

My boyfriend and I celebrated his birthday at this place. Service was excellent. Our server name is Pascual and he welcomed us with open arms and great service. Food was incredible. As far as drinks we had a patron margarita and rum shots, amazing. We also met the owner he's the sweetest. The place is nice and clean. Soft music.... More

We first noticed the cool pictures of Ernest Hemingway and Fidel Castro ("an unlikely friendship"). My family came into this restaurant because it was a stormy day and I knew Porto cupecoy had easy, free parking. But it turned out the Latin food we had was absolutely delicious! Pascal was a great server, and the guava flavored bread pudding +... More

We enjoyed the undercover outdoor dinning area as temperature was warm. The gourmet food was presented very nicely and was delicious. Service was exceedingly friendly, sometimes a little more than desired but on the whole, all was great. This was an evening of fine dinning. Dessert was disappointing, tho, skip it.

When we set out on a beach walk from Simpson bay, through Maho, to Cupecoy for lunch, we underestimated how far away it way. By the time the 4 of us made it to Cupecoy, we were tired and hungry - and a little edgy. We found Ernest & Fidel by happenstance -- but what a fantastic find it was!!!... More

This is probably one of the few latin restaurants in the island. Loved the decoration ant the setting right on the Cupecoy marina. A little hidden in my opinion but very nice find. Food is good and it's pretty much latin in general, for the name I thought it was going to be cuban food. From rice with black beans... More

We have been going to E&F's for 4 years now, and have consumed their excellent breakfast, Lunch & dinners. We have tasted everything on the menu, and must tell you this is what we look forward to each year. A "must dine" for anyone traveling to St. Maarten (we have been going to the island since the mid 80's). Bill... More
