I was stationed in Delhi and it was my mother's birthday who stays at home in palampur. She loves South Indian food. It was no where available around palampur and I really wanted her to be the happiest that day. Though my place was not...in their delivery location range, they put an extra effort and delivered tasty South Indian food at my place when I told them it's my mother's birthday. They even gave an extra discount and I would be forever indebted to the management for making my surprise a success. I don't know what are all these negative reviews about, coz my entire family loved the food.More

Their food is average... Ordered rajma which never tasted like one and then the same was for kadhi... People serving here are not bothered about how the food tastes and have nothing to suggest incase you need any advice on choosing something.....their food is below...average on taste and its just that they are well placed in terms of location... So i visited to famous taj restaurant at Palampur and i order dal makhni and mix veg ! Sadly dal makhni was totally a mess without any salt or any butter just with fresh cream ! anyhow i eat it coz i was sitting with...my family but at the time of billing i give a genuine review that you need to add lil salt in your makhni ( as i am working as a chef in taj hotel delhi) but the guy who is doing Billing at the cash counter act bery weired and started shouting that you have order it its not my fault our dal makhni comes with without salt ! Though i was paying the bill but juss giving a review but that guy with eye glasses was seriously a bad face to this restaurant ! I don't know how that guy doesn't know anything except doing the bills ! Not recommend taj Palampur to anyone who is traveling from different states or country !More
Our family enjoyed the food here, the noddles with north Indian dishes, alu puri mutter and curd, very tasty.
The food quality is not the same what it used to be. So I would not try it again. Better options are available

This is a nice place which serves a great variety of cuisines, and pretty much everything tastes really good! The kids love how they make their Maggi and even their Pastas!
There are little options on menu although a lot is there in the menu card. Quality of food is good. Snacks or starters or soups or even momos are not available at 7.45pm. !!!!!
Food is up to the standards of what this restaurant displays and the reputation it has ,but the home delivery is utter nuisance the delivery boy comes after 4 hours that too without proper billing details and the food is layed on my door in...a very unorganized manner .
