We made a booking for a teppanyaki meal as this is usually entertaining. The first warning sign however was when we made the booking by phone and they said the teppanyaki tables were full, but then they changed their mind and said they could fit us in. When we arrived there were two teppanyaki tables operating with professional looking chefs.... More

We went to this restaurant after 9pm following a movie next door at Brighton Bay cinema. We were warmly greeted and seated. The service was very good and the food excellent, nicely presented and delicious. We will definitely return. Very convenient for before or after the cinema also.

If you come here for a fun night out and don't know a lot about really good Teppanyaki, you will enjoy this place greatly. The service is good, the surroundings are very Japanese and very attractive, and our Teppanyaki chef put on a spectacular display of knife work and culinary theatre. And for a lot of people that's probably a... More

Oh yummy. Every thing to expect of great Japanese food. The entertaining chefs tossing rice plate and the hot plate cutting and spatula techniques are awesome.

Once again we had a fabulous visit here and even our 2.5yr old loved the experience as we were well attended by our waiter Shermin and not left waiting for long periods. The food was amazing and of particular mention, the gyu tataki was outstanding . We will keep coming back as the food is generously portioned and of an... More

Most teppanyaki restaurants serve 8 courses in under an hour so when family suggested Fujiyama I was hesitant. We were seated at the first table comfortably accommodating 12 of us. The chef, a young Malay delighted the children with the egg slices flying and the catching of the rice bowls, the adults enjoy the generously spaced courses with our BYO... More

Great spot to have a nice meal though not cheap for what it is. Not run by japanese but food is tasty and the platters and bento boxes offer good value. Very spacious and caters for kids (they offer kids meals). The restaurant is split level so not good for wheelchairs or prams.

We have been going to Fujiyama for years and it has always been good. It has changed. It looks shabby, I don't think there are any Japanese staff or chefs anymore and the food is very ordinary. The udon soup was bland & tasteless with chunks of low grade chicken. The bento box was also unappealing. The are many good... More

Great quality food, love the pickled bean shoots given at the start. The staff are extremely friendly. We have come here for many years and will continue to come for many more.

Always good food here, we enjoyed the teppanyaki this time for a triple birthday celebration. They even surprised us with a lovely birthday dessert.
