I am so glad my boyfriend and I stopped here to get some chocolate then decided to stay for a late lunch/early dinner. I ordered the sea bass and oh my goodness, best sea bass I've ever had! My boyfriend ordered the mango chicken salad and I'll just say both of our plates didn't have a drop of food left... More

Excellent!!! We were there before it opened and they served us anyway. One of the best BLT's I've ever had.

This place has very interesting, varied and exceptionally tasty (and filling) food. It is also actually really reasonably priced. I would 100% recommend braving the slightly strange and steep walk over the grass up the hill to eat here while you are in Monteverde.

We went there first for an afternoon hot chocolate and went back 3 times for dinner! They make their own chocolate, and the hot chocolate is excellent with home-made chocolate - good for chocolate afficionados, usually forgotten behind those that drink coffee or tea. The hot chocolat in itself is worth the trip! (Most places they make it with "Hershey... More

We visited the Cafe twice during our local stay. It sits on the third tier of a wooden looking building already up a short incline on a hill. The result is a balcony with a terrific view and a relaxing place to spend an hour. We had drinks on the balcony (local and Argentinian) plus local coffee and chocolate. The... More

The specialty chocolate was very good. The bat exhibit looked interesting but unfortunately we had to hit the road

This was a very pleasant surprise. We stayed across the street and walked to dinner looking for something convenient. Love the hillside setting and sunset views. But the meal was the high point...topped off by their homemade chocolates. We enjoyed the experience so much we came back the next day for the chocolate tour and had dessert at Cabure. This... More

An absolute must. We loved the food so much we came here twice in our 2 night stay in Monteverde. Locally and sustainably sourced food is hand picked by the owner and you can tell. We had both fish and beef and both were amazing. It's not the easiest to find as although on the main road towards the cloud... More

This was an unexpected surprise! We went for the Chocolate processing tour (which was great) and had two meals there on separate occasions. We had pizza both times and chocolate as well! Outside seating provides great sunset views as well as wildlife watching.
