We Found a bad seashell in our pasta vongole, when confronting our waiter, instead of apologizing he insulted us by saying. "people who don't know anything about Italian food" well guess what having worked 16 years in The restaurant industry I do know how my seafood in my pasta should look like. It shouldnt smell rotten, and if it happens... More

We have been there a few times now. We have ordered different plates each time. With and without kids. The menu changes all the time. The pasta has great taste, texture and temperature. The sauces are true, honest and natural. The components (vegetables, meat, fish, mushrooms etc) of all pasta have been perfect. House wine is ok. Warm and easy... More

Very good almost real Italian restaurant de quartier. "Almost" because despite the name it does not specialise in any regional cooking, and many recipes are aligned to "international" more than truly Italian standards. Overall anyway the food is very good, I ate here many time at lunch and for dinner and I was never disappointed. The bill is correct.

Dined here on a Saturday evening which was possibly the mistake; the place was crowded! With no reservation they told us 10mins for a table inside. We could have eaten outside but it was starting to get cool so we decided to wait. An hour later we were still drinking at a table outside. But can’t criticise a place for... More

Don't expect fine dining or rare wines. Authentic pasta dishes with fresh ingredients and a pichet of vino sfuso for an honest price. And service with a smile.

Good Italian, with basic, but well prepared pasta dishes and some good wines. Friendly staff with a real Italian vibe oozing out of the place. Just a very nice neighbourhood restaurant, not trying to be more than what they are.

To keep it simple and clear: nice food for an affordable price and a simple-cosy atmosphere in a quite area of Brussels. Friends, Family or colleagues, it doesn't matter: trust La Marchigiana and give it a try!

This review is based on one dinner for two people. We had pasta, fish, seafood, and meat, none of which was acceptable except for a lemon sauce for the veal. This restaurant is worse than any of perhaps 100 Italian restaurants and bistros I have been to in the United States and in Italy, including rest stops on highways in... More

We were staying in a nearby hotel and were happy to find this friendly restaurant with delicious food. We visited in the evening and were given a warm welcome by the patron and his family. The restaurant is small and friendly. The food is freshly cooked and delicious and the house wine excellent. We chose the antipasto starter to share... More
