A lovely Highland hotel with great character, friendly staff and diverse menu. We ate here twice during a weekend stay and the food was good and reasonably priced. It's dog friendly in the bar area too, and they have free wifi!

Popped in for a quick lunch and wished we hadn't! Ordered haggis nachos a portion of chips and a couple of drinks(£22 we won't see again!) The nachos were lacking toppings but they made up for it by throwing 500g of jalapeños on top.. as for the chips something like overcooked oven chips were on offer(£3.95 Which you can only... More

We arrived to find the Bothy closed ! Most years we wend our way over from Loch Rannoch specifically to eat at the Bothy. We repaired to the hotel and ate in the bar but just not the same. Problems with ordering real ale as the nice lady was unsure of what they were. They were Moulin Brewery ales, choice... More

Used to go in this pub at least once a week but not been in for about a year. The food is OK but we felt the tables were a bit cramped, you can't control the clientele and some of the middle aged women are very rude and spoilt my wife's meal by generally being a pain. Would I go... More

We stopped here and ate in the Bothy Bar, quite old fashioned place, curious display on the way in and in need of some TLC all round. Most things on the menu were quite pricey considering the standard of the place, the barman seemed quite unfriendly and seemed to have a moan every time someone ordered tea or coffee

Portions of food far to big , more finesse required when plating up , the haggis dish I had was definitely microwaved and just piled on to plate, had it been presented in a haggis tower you would have got two main course portions out of the amount I had on my plate think of your profit Chef no sence... Food was according to the price. Substantial traditional fare. Service was ok. A good place to stop for a quick pub meal if expectations are not too high. A perfect location to escape the rain with a pint whilst waiting for the train.

Ate in the bothy bar. Words like quaint or traditional spring to mind, or maybe twee. Decent menu. Rustic (shabby) decor. Needs some tlc I think it's fair to say. Food was ok. Prices ok. Decent range of ale and lager at the bar. Service decent and food prepared quickly enough. Entrance to the car park next to station is... More

Stopped on Sunday with some special friends visiting Scotland for the week, despite the sign saying food served from 1pm - 9 pm we were told they had been very busy so the staff were having a break and if we waited 45 min, we would be served. We decided to wait, but did think we would get drinks sooner,... More
