We had been at the Hangover Hut a couple of nights before and when we were talking with the owner, he mentioned the pizzas at JavaVine Cafe & Wine Bar. So, for lunch we thought we would try a pizza. It is a nice small cafe with a great atmosphere. The girls were very friendly. We ordered a cheese, sausage,... More

Our pizza was delicious. It will take a little longer than what you're used to in the U.S. (no fast-bake pizza oven) but it was well worth the wait and it's one of the few restaurants with air conditioning.

Tonight we visited JavaVine. Had dinner with the company of Jasper their doggie! They had my favourite type of wine (Riesling) and awesome Pizza, carrot cake, and cookies. It was great to talk with expat Canadians and learn their experiences of moving to Roatan. We can't wait to return!

Fantastic local place! The owners are so friendly. Good wine selection and excellent pizza. The fun, laid back atmosphere is wonderful. Best part the owners are Canadian and everyone feels like family.

Stumbled across JavaVine on accident. Fell in love with their coffee. Had to make the long walk every morning once I introduced my wife to their caramel macchiato. Well worth the walk and any walk along a beach can't be too bad. Friendly staff and delicious prices can't be beat. Even picked up a few bags of coffee to enjoy... More

Asked to resubmit my review again. Yes this is the place that charged me $18 US for 6 buns. Tourist beware!! These types of prices drive tourists away. Buns were dry, and very, very expensive. My advice, stay away.

History JavaVine was purchased as a turn-key business on April 4th 2011, when it had previously been operating for 4 years as the Cool Beans Coffee House. The new owners, Wyonna & Quentin (with their now infamous schnauzer Jasper, who can be seen almost daily swimming in the ocean along West Bay Beach), finished a 3 1/2 week renovation in February 2012, and re-opened with a brand new look, an expanded menu, and extended hours to include a cool new Wine Bar & Lounge with light Tapas, in a chill, relaxed environment with soothing tunes. It was at that time the coffee shop became known as JavaVine Cafe & Wine Bar!
