Dinner on a weeknight. Beautiful location, amazingly friendly staff, service was great, and the food was, and plated as good as we've ever had. Credit to the chef and cooks. Will have no hesitation going back, day or night.

Excellent locaruon - quaint little area upstairs. Staff are excellent - very thoughtful and anticipated our every desire. Special thanks is to our waiter Jessica - we didn't have to ask for anything! For starters we had smoked kingfish sliders (on charcoaled brioche). Fantastic! Highlight for me was the flake and pork fried dumplings in seaweed dashi with chilli. Beautiful!... More

We had dinner with friends who are regular guests here. A magnificent location to have lunch or watch the sunset especially if you can book a window seat. The staff were very friendly and efficient and the food was fine without being exceptional.

Recently had dinner. It's definitely a special night out as it's a bit pricey. The food was absolutely fantastic although one of my party had the chilli linguine and it was way too spicy. The service is great and you're definitely made to feel special. Great night

An elderly gentlemen former yachtsman likes to dine here due to the sea location and looking at the small yachts. Here this typical Australian fish restaurant does not disappoint as the four of us enjoy the fish platter. The service is very nice with a candle on top of the icecream.

Stunning location and every table has a view - great start. Always book, this place is always busy Staff very friendly and we were seated quickly, with food and drink menus. However, the service was patchy through the whole meal which was disappointing. Asked if we wanted warm olives and bread to start - sizeable starter and the bread and... More

Cerberus is a former surf life savind shed converted into a fish'n chipper downstairs and dining upstairs ( steep stairs ) It is compacy and became quite nosy as it filled, and was hot on the very sunny day I visited The view across Port Philip bay (( it is virtually on the water ) is spectacular , and includes... It is nice that you can book a table outdoors without much difficulty. Great food, service, charming view. A suitable place for a romantic dinner.

This was to be a special evening for my wife and I to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We booked a table for two, 3 weeks in advance, so we could sit by the window. The view of the sunset was spectacular as always, but this can be enjoyed also from the car park or the beach! The service was good... More

A group of 3 of us had lunch here in mid March 2017. If it is possible, when you book, ask for a seat near the windows which look out over Port Phillip to the Melbourne skyline, with the Cerberus in the foreground. There was a reasonable choice available on the menu, and the servings were well presented and of... More
